Virtual English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Virtual English Teacher to join our team. As a Virtual English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in grades 6-12.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English Language Arts and experience with virtual instruction. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides
  • Integrating technology to differentiate lessons, engage students, and deepen understanding
  • Delivering live lessons synchronously during regular school hours (4-hour minimum)
  • Grading assignments and providing feedback to support student learning and growth

Requirements:

  • Active US state-issued teaching certification in ELA (6-12)
  • Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and resources
  • One or more years of teaching experience preferred
