Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
    • Sourcing candidates through various channels to identify and attract top talent.
    • Conducting interviews and assessments to select the most suitable candidates.
    • Ensuring a smooth transition for new hires through effective onboarding processes.
  • Employee Relations & Retention:
    • Addressing employee concerns and resolving disputes to maintain a harmonious work environment.
    • Designing and implementing initiatives to retain top talent, such as employee welfare and engagement programs.
    • Handling employee grievances and disputes, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
  • Performance Management:
    • Defining clear goals and expectations for employee performance.
    • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
    • Managing systems for recognizing and rewarding high performers.
  • HR Systems & Data Management:
    • Using HR management systems to store and manage employee data.
    • Analyzing HR data, generating reports, and presenting insights to improve HR functions.
    • Managing payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees.
  • Training & Development:
    • Analyzing skill gaps and determining appropriate training programs.
    • Coordinating and delivering training to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Ensuring that management and leadership receive necessary training for growth.
  • Legal Compliance & Policy Development:
    • Developing, reviewing, and implementing company policies related to employment, benefits, and workplace conduct.
    • Ensuring that HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Preparing and managing employment contracts and agreements.
  • Collaboration with the Davao HR Team:
    • Providing ongoing guidance and support to the Davao HR team to build their capacity in managing HR functions.
    • Ensuring that HR practices are aligned across both locations until the Davao team can operate independently.
    • Regularly sharing best practices, resources, and tools to strengthen HR processes.
  • Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture:
    • Measuring and improving employee satisfaction through surveys, feedback, and engagement activities.
    • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and healthy work environment that reflects company values.
    • Organizing employee events, team-building activities, and wellness programs to boost morale.
