Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a working schedule of 8a-5p or 9a-6p EST. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Conduct general bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and tracking expenses.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records using knowledge of depreciation models and accounting principles.
  • Assist with financial audits and prepare necessary documentation as required.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience within a client-facing position.
  • 2+ years of experience within a startup company.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Experience working within the Bill.com platform.
  • Strong understanding of general bookkeeping, depreciation models, reconciliation, and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in data analysis and performing cost-benefit analysis.
