Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer II to join our team. This individual will play a key role in expanding our growing R&D DevOps team, focusing on the development and management of our multi-tenant SaaS software platform hosted in the Microsoft Azure public cloud.

Main Responsibilities
  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to alerts, investigating issues, and identifying root causes to ensure the stability and reliability of the SaaS environment.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): They will develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Our ideal candidate will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including configuration, automation, and monitoring, to facilitate fast and reliable software releases.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Utilizing Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, they will containerize applications and scale them efficiently.
  • Cloud Management: The DevOps Engineer II will manage cloud resources on the Azure platform, optimizing cost, security, and performance.
  • Monitoring and Logging: They will set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems and applications.
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborating with the security team, they will implement best practices for security, compliance, and vulnerability management.
  • Scripting and Automation: The successful candidate will write scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration: They will work closely with development teams to understand underlying requirements and implement infrastructure to support it.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes is crucial.
