Cyber Security Specialist

Protecting digital assets from cyber threats requires a strategic approach. Our organization needs a Cyber Security Analyst who can assess risks, develop effective security measures, and maintain vigilance against potential breaches.


Key Responsibilities
  • Threat Identification and Analysis: Monitor system logs, network traffic, and security tools to identify and analyze potential security threats; stay updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate breaches, and provide timely resolutions. Develop incident-response plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and recover from reported security breaches.
  • Conduct regular assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications; develop strategies for remediating vulnerabilities and minimizing potential risks.

Qualifications and Skills
  • A degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred; relevant coursework in computer science, with at least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Fundamental log analysis and troubleshooting skills; strong understanding of networking protocols and operating systems; ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to evolving cyber threats.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advantageous: technical certifications in relevant areas such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, MCP, MCTS, LINUX+, CompTIA Security+.
  • At least 50 Mbps internet connection required.
