Web Content Specialist Job Description

GrowthAssistant is seeking a highly skilled web content specialist to join our team. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong skills in building and managing web pages using Contentful.

This role involves creating fully functioning Contentful pages from wireframes and briefs, configuring components and embedding multimedia. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing localization workflows, cloning and QAing translated variants, ensuring locale-specific slugs, metadata, and hreflang tags across 70 languages.

The successful candidate will perform end-to-end QA: design fidelity, responsiveness, accessibility, metadata, and analytics validation pre-launch. They will also implement content updates and design/copy tweaks, manage redirects, and maintain accurate navigation elements.

In addition, the web content specialist will maintain documentation, templates, and reusable page skeletons to accelerate future launches. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a global team.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience using Contentful to build and manage pages
  • At least 2 years of experience creating web pages from wireframes or briefs
  • At least 2 years of QA experience in digital marketing or content
  • Familiarity with B2B content funnels (blogs, pillar pages, gated assets, UTM conventions)
