Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient exams, collecting vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient exams, collect vital signs, and perform medical procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations, take medical histories, and update patient records.
- Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
