Financial Management Specialist

Description:

This position requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to manage our financial records using accounting software. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
  • Record and categorize income, expenses, and other financial data
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into company performance
  • Prepare financial documentation for audits and tax filings
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with payroll processing and tax reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Certification in QuickBooks (preferred but not required)
