Accounting Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounting Specialist to support our client in the promotional products industry. The ideal candidate will possess excellent financial management skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and general Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter all supplier invoices into accounting software for timely and accurate posting of all accounting transactions.
  • Prepare weekly check runs based on cash flow forecasts to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Generate client invoices upon order completion, maintaining effective communication with clients throughout the process.
  • Conduct routine collection follow-ups and issue past-due notices and statements to manage accounts receivable efficiently.
  • Manage royalty entry and submissions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience in a professional setting, showcasing expertise in financial management.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and client relationships.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, enabling seamless financial operations.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general Office Suite proficiency, supporting data analysis and reporting needs.
