Job Description

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing bookkeeping functions for a portfolio of clients in the US. This includes maintaining accounting system records by performing recurring bookkeeping processes and creating schedules.

This role involves routine accounting procedures such as bank, credit card, and payroll account reconciliations, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), as well as other accounting-related functions as requested by clients.

You will communicate open items or anomalies to Senior Accountants, and follow up to ensure items are fully resolved.

Additionally, you will examine bank transactions and flag unknown transactions to the accountant or accounting lead.

Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation of reconciliation items in work papers.

Contribute to other department and team projects as needed.

Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in the related field is preferred
  • Exposure in bookkeeping
  • Experience in reconciliation and Microsoft Excel
  • Technical savvy and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and customer service standards
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
  • Autonomous environment operation capabilities
