We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a defined range of operational HR activities, particularly in payroll operations, according to predetermined guidelines and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or Accounting, or equivalent experience in Payroll and/or Human Resources. A minimum of 5 years' experience in General HR and/or Payroll is required, as well as adeptness in basic Payroll principles and knowledge of local Labor Law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mainly responsible for Payroll Operations and HR Administration
  • Point of contact for outsourced payroll vendor
  • Handles pre and post payroll activities, including but not limited to: Encoding of payroll instructions, uploading of time records / overtime claims, validation of Payroll Register, preparation of payroll reports, monitoring of Statutory payments, addressing Payroll queries from employees, and continuously improving Payroll processes
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining employee database and HR systems at the local level
  • Handles employee movement from onboarding to separation
  • Manages employees' files/records
  • Policy review and updating
  • Handles employee requests on HR-related documents
  • Coordinates with external providers in relation to employee benefits
  • Coordinates with relevant government agencies
  • Supports the HR Head on HR services, initiatives, programs, and policies/guidelines development
  • Provides first-level HR support to managers and employees
  • Responds to inquiries related to HR and company policies and procedures
  • Assists in local HR activities related to Talent Acquisition, People & Culture, Total Rewards
