Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Security Officer to join our team at Career Professionals, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing Security by Design on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and validate progress on the remediation implemented to address outstanding issues/vulnerabilities
  • Manage internal and external VAPT engagements conducted by external vendors, ensuring closure of audit findings
  • Review results and methodologies from vulnerability scans and penetration tests conducted by vendors
  • Perform manual or automated tests to validate remediation
  • Perform technical and security reviews on assets impacting operations of applications
  • Work with internal teams to resolve security findings on applications
  • Take corrective action needed to meet standards required by security policy, procedures, network architectures, and software design
  • Promote security awareness programs on secure coding and systems development life cycles
  • Other tasks or duties assigned in line with the Information Security Program

  • Work with regional and local IT team heads to ensure they carry out planned actions and projects to mitigate IT security risks
  • Work with business department heads to ensure security is taken into consideration and implement required actions that fall within the business area
  • Work with Regional/Group audit team for Pen test reports
  • Coordinate with application developers and owners for remediation
