Job Description:

The Trends Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Solar Solutions Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This role involves providing technical expertise and solutions during the pre-sales process, as well as designing and engineering projects from conceptualization to completion of EV Charger, Solar PV, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and analyze customer requirements for solar infrastructure components and facility construction
  • Design appropriate solutions
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to events, summits, and clients
  • Deliver complete, timely, and accurate solar facility BOMs to the sales team
  • Coordinate the transition between pre-sales specification and implementation engineering
  • Establish excellent relationships with customers and principals/partners
  • Collaborate with the sales resource team and TG Data Center Infrastructure business solutions group

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, quantity survey/estimate
  • Strong background in solar facilities construction
  • Deep understanding of Laws, Executive Orders, and DOE Department Circulars involving Renewable Energy
