Job Overview

The role of Quality Assurance Analyst involves ensuring the goods produced meet established quality standards.

This entails observing and checking raw materials used or finished goods produced for visible defects, performing various tests on samples drawn, and noting down observations.

Key responsibilities include accepting and rejecting lots based on sample checks, assisting in implementing quality control programs, and preparing training manuals and quality guidelines.

Additionally, conducting physico-chemical tests based on laboratory procedures and quality plans for raw materials, in-process products, and finished products is also a critical aspect of this role.

A further responsibility is conducting inspections and checks within the production plant to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Must be a licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of related working experience or in the food or pharmaceutical industries is required.
  • Knowledge of good laboratory practices, GMP, HACCP, and ISO 17025 is preferable.
  • Ability to work in hot/cold environments and willingness to work on shifting schedules are also essential.
