About the Job:
The ideal candidate will collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to implement new payroll vendors/services and ensure seamless integration. This includes leading payroll insourcing initiatives, transitioning payroll processes from vendors or to in-house systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to activate and implement new payroll vendors/services.
- Lead payroll insourcing initiatives, transitioning payroll processes from vendors or to in-house systems.
- Analyze and interpret payroll data to drive business decisions.
- Audit data integrity between HCM (Workday) and other payroll software.
- Provide day-to-day administration of payroll processing functions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of the end-to-end payroll cycle.
- Coordinate with business partners and have an overall view of the transformation project.
- Hands-on experience with various inputs and outputs such as third-party interfaces, timekeeping, garnishments, tax filing/compliance, accounting, benefits, and other key areas that integrate with payroll is essential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, or a related field.
- Outstanding organizational and data analysis skills.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of payroll experience transitioning payroll at a multi-country level with a focus on insourcing and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and relevant regulations.
- Proven ability to work with reporting systems.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify issues and errors.
- Ability to work across various areas of the organization to ensure proper stakeholder alignment as needed.
- Must be an independent worker with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment and different time zones.
