We are a dynamic finance team seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our accounting operations, including managing full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries and related companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounting Operations: Manage full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries and related companies, ensuring timely monthly closings and accurate reporting.
  • Lead General Ledger Transactions: Oversee general ledger transactions, bank reconciliations, and schedules, ensuring correctness and timely submission for review.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, along with budgeting, cash flow management, foreign exchange, and financial projections.
  • Conduct Statutory Consolidation: Conduct statutory consolidation and prepare group consolidated financial statements.
  • Develop Financial Policies: Review, develop, and implement financial policies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Improve Processes: Continuously improve the ERP system and processes for operational efficiency.
  • Lead Credit Control: Lead credit control reviews and oversee collection effectiveness.
  • Manage Audits and Taxes: Manage statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors. Handle the company's tax matters, including quarterly GST filings and corporate tax.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other external parties or stakeholders.
  • Participate in Projects: Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualifications, or equivalent.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an audit firm.
  • Strong leadership skills with a willingness to support team members in all areas.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, results-oriented with a sharp business acumen.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
