Job Summary

You will be responsible for delivering and supporting data integrations from internal and external sources into the data warehouse technical stack. You will ensure accurate data delivery to systems, focusing on designing and building a robust Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ETL components to meet business requirements.
  • Develop Matillion ETL scripts and orchestrations as needed.
  • Ensure team adherence to best practices of ETL development.
  • Leverage monitoring tools to track ETL Pipeline performance and completion.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and insert data.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Technical Architects to clarify business requirements and offer recommendations.
  • Contribute to defining a scalable data warehouse architecture.
  • Coordinate production, development, and sandbox environments.
  • Coordinate releases with the DevOps team and prepare required documentation.
  • Participate in peer code reviews.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
  • Offer support and recommendations for testing and UAT.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as requested for incidents.
  • Participate in routine maintenance, performance tuning, and support of ETL and the DW Environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of IT experience working with ETL in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of ETL Design methodologies, including best practices, performance tuning, architecture, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Experience with at least one ETL tool.
  • Proficient in relational and dimensional data modeling.
  • Excellent SQL and stored procedure skills.
  • Experience with warehouse technologies such as SQL, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift.
  • Ability to deliver work to schedule and manage workload priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about complex data structures and problem-solving.
  • Ability to quickly learn new data tools and concepts.
