Senior Microsoft 365 Security Architect Role

Seeking a senior-level security architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing Microsoft 365 (M365) security solutions to lead the firm's M365 security environment.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in M365 and Azure security architecture, including hands-on implementation, as well as knowledge of cloud security technologies such as cloud access security brokers (CASB), cloud security posture management (CSPM), and identity protection.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled security professional to join our organization and contribute to the development of robust security controls and governance frameworks to protect enterprise collaboration tools, data, and identities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end security controls across the M365 ecosystem, focusing on applications, identities, collaboration, and cloud workloads.
  • Lead the adoption of Microsoft Defender security solutions, including Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • Collaborate with global security, IT, and cloud engineering teams to ensure robust security controls are embedded across M365 workloads.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure architecture and governance frameworks to protect enterprise collaboration tools, data, and identities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive enterprise-level experience with M365 and Azure security architecture, including hands-on implementation.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Defender Suite, including at least two of the following: Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB), and Microsoft Purview.
  • Working knowledge or exposure to Microsoft Defender for Identity and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of modern security frameworks, data governance, CASB, CSPM, and identity protection.

  • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
