Senior Front-End Developer Job

As a key player in our development team, you will be responsible for crafting complex front-end applications using React, focusing on functional components, hooks, and state management.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience developing production-level applications using JavaScript and TypeScript. They should possess advanced knowledge of React, including efficient use of hooks, state/store patterns, and performance tuning.

We are looking for someone with proven ability to integrate and work with geospatial mapping libraries (Mapbox, Google Maps API, Esri, etc.). Additionally, they should have deep understanding of responsive web design principles and accessibility best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop complex front-end applications using React, focusing on functional components, hooks, and state management.
  • Integrate spatial mapping tools such as Mapbox, Google Maps API, or Esri into web applications.
  • Optimize application performance across various browsers and devices, utilizing code profiling and build optimization techniques.
  • Ensure responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews.
  • Utilize Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience developing production-level applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Advanced knowledge of React, including efficient use of hooks, state/store patterns, and performance tuning.
  • Proven ability to integrate and work with geospatial mapping libraries (Mapbox, Google Maps API, Esri, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of responsive web design principles and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience profiling and optimizing web app performance using modern tooling.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL integration patterns.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and using Git-based workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, shapefiles, and KMZ.
  • Exposure to telecom or utility network planning and infrastructure workflows.
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), React Query, or Redux for state management.
