Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Hold Buckets: Review and resolve discrepancies in provider information, patient insurance, credentialing, demographics, and other issues as requested.
  • Work Manager Hold Buckets: Provide additional documentation, address patient insurance issues, respond to coding clarification queries, and ensure accurate claims processing.
  • Work Charge Entry for Office and Procedures: Review claims for optimal coding, enter charges promptly, and verify schedule completeness.
  • Work Unpostables: Gather EOBs, scan, and upload into Athena, review collections weekly, and follow strict protocols for patient letters and phone calls regarding payment.
  • Review Claim Attachment Error Queue: Correct claim attachment errors and associate faxes with corresponding claims.
  • Review Zero Pay Report: Identify underpayment and initiate corrections.
  • Review and provide Practice Reports monthly or upon request: Run A/R Aging Wizard, Denial Report, and Activity Wizard, presenting reports with recommendations for improvement.
