Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant Job

This is a remote job opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong background in bookkeeping and accounting.

  • We are looking for a Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant to support financial operations and general business tasks.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or FreshBooks.

This role requires managing financial records, preparing invoices, reconciling statements, and generating financial reports.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and recording financial transactions
  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconciling bank statements and financial records
  • Preparing financial reports and summaries
  • Assisting with tax preparation and compliance
  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Compiling financial reports and presenting them to the Finance Director
  • Assisting with knowledge base data management

In addition to bookkeeping responsibilities, you will also perform general virtual assistant tasks such as:

  • Managing emails and correspondence
  • Organizing and updating files, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Assisting with administrative tasks like scheduling and calendar management
  • Supporting project management tasks using Asana, Trello, or ClickUp
Requirements
  • At least 1+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, with a focus on bookkeeping/accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of remote work experience
  • Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or FreshBooks
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or ClickUp
  • Familiarity with AI tools (optional)
