Medical Billing Specialist

The Patient Accounts Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to address patient inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:- Review daily reports for pending patient statements.
- Communicate with front office staff to resolve discrepancies.
- Answer incoming patient calls through a designated extension line.
- Document all communications with patients in the NextGen system.
- Refer complex issues to a Collector or ROPS manager.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Minimum one-year experience in medical billing and patient responsibility.
- Excellent customer service skills.
