We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Virginia Food, Inc. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and direct a team of logistics professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of logistics, including receipt, handling, storage, and dispatching of finished goods.
- Create and implement procedures, performance measurements, and productivity standards to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
- Supervise and train logistics staff to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of logistics operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, and customer service teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics and personnel supervision.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics and distribution.
- Ability to work overtime and during holidays as needed.
