Job Summary:

This role involves providing financial support to a team by managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely payment of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter all supplier invoices into accounting systems in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prepare weekly check runs based on cash flow forecasts to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Generate client invoices upon order completion, maintaining efficient billing processes.
  • Conduct routine collection follow-ups and issue past-due notices and statements to minimize delays.
  • Manage royalty entry and submissions, adhering to relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all accounting transactions, preventing discrepancies.
  • Perform general clerical support and resolve accounting issues as assigned, enhancing team productivity.
  • Complete other ad hoc finance tasks as directed by senior management, showcasing adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, reflecting strong academic foundations.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience in a professional setting, demonstrating expertise.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, enabling efficient financial management.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general Office Suite proficiency (Word, Outlook), supporting seamless workflow integration.
  • Comfortable learning and using new accounting systems and platforms, embracing technological advancements.
