Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, automation, and security practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
  • Develop and optimize sophisticated CI/CD pipelines to achieve zero-downtime deployments and ensure high availability of our applications.
  • Promote robust security best practices, implement compliance frameworks, and drive risk mitigation strategies across our infrastructure and applications.
  • Lead the adoption and expansion of infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure infrastructure consistency and repeatability.
  • Cultivate the use of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and contribute to our microservices orchestration strategy.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and incident response solutions using tools like Opentelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Cloudwatch, and Opsgenie.
  • Automate security processes, including integration with penetration testing tools and implementation of threat modeling outcomes.
  • Drive strategies for optimizing cloud resource utilization and improving overall infrastructure efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate security and DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers on DevOps principles, cloud technologies, and automation techniques.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging DevOps and cloud security trends, actively evaluating and implementing new tools and practices to enhance our infrastructure and processes.
