Virtual Computer Science Instructor

This role requires a dedicated educator to teach computer science to students in a virtual setting.

We are seeking an experienced instructor who can create engaging lesson plans, utilize online tools, and foster a collaborative classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum standards and pacing guides, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with students and colleagues.

This position offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing the instructor to work independently while still being part of a larger educational community.

About the Role
  • Create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides.
  • Utilize a variety of online tools to differentiate lessons and engage students.
  • Teach synchronously during regular school hours (4-hour minimum).
  • Evaluate and grade student work to track progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and growth.

This is a part-time, remote teaching position. The instructor will be expected to work independently and manage their own schedule.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to education, and a passion for inspiring students in a flexible online environment.

Requirements
  • An active US state-issued Computer Science teaching certification.
  • A Social Security number.
  • Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and resources.
