Senior Business Development Specialist

The role of Senior Business Development Specialist involves primarily handling branch solicited accounts for small corporate customers to achieve predetermined loan portfolio and profit levels in compliance with the desired business objectives.

The ideal candidate will devise and implement:

  • Formulation of business strategies/plans and pre-evaluating possible target accounts;
  • Maintenance of a competitive position by constantly reviewing/implementing pricing strategies and industry developments;
  • Packaging of credit products to meet client needs effectively;
  • Cross-selling of other services of the Bank (other than Credit), in order to totally satisfy and capture the needs of the customer.
  • Implementation of the marketing call program closely monitored;
  • Close monitoring of the status of customer relationship in order to assess actual performance on business volume and profitability vis-à-vis the account plan/budget.

This role is also responsible for maintaining a good quality loan portfolio through:

  • Preparation of Credit Approval Memo for the granting and/or the renewal of credit facilities within the required time frame;
  • Constant review/analysis of the respective financial condition/Average Daily Balance of individual accounts;
  • Proper rating of borrower and regular review its risk rating.
Servicing

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates daily with other operating units of the Bank such as Legal/Credit, International, Domestic Operations;
  • Makes sure that all necessary approvals are secured through the use of proper media i.e. offering memo and/or credit approval memorandum;
  • Continuously monitors in compliance with the requirements.
Key Requirements
  • Mid-Senior level experience in banking or finance;
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales principles;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make sound business decisions.
