We are seeking a skilled Facilities Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment across all areas of the work zone.

The role involves planning, scheduling, implementing, monitoring, and controlling facilities and equipment resources related to maintenance activities undertaken by the section.

The Facilities Supervisor will be required to maintain high standards of work as directed by the Production Manager, carrying out maintenance and repair work on plant and equipment with minimal supervision.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high standards of work in accordance with production manager's direction.
  • Carrying out repair, installation, and maintenance work with high craftsmanship standards.
  • Performing preventative maintenance activities as required.
  • Ensuring proper and efficient use of all equipment and tools in the workshop.
  • Completing end-of-shift reports and communicating effectively during handovers.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree in a vocational or engineering-related field.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of supervisory experience in the shipyard industry.

In addition, we are looking for individuals with excellent communication and personal relation skills, as well as computer literacy.

This is a mid-senior level full-time position within the management and manufacturing function of the consumer services industry.
