Community Support Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support organization, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support through online platforms.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about cybersecurity and have a strong background in IT security concepts, including antivirus, networking, and encryption technologies. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support to customers through online platforms, including the Sophos Community, Reddit, and Twitter
  • Act as a technical contact for Sophos Techvids to help produce informative and engaging how-to & troubleshooting guides and videos
  • Collect, assess, and relay valuable user feedback and suggestions to stakeholders to drive product & documentation improvement
  • Effectively collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT security concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Advanced computer skills, including but not limited to: ActiveDirectory, SQL, Networking, Microsoft Exchange, VMWare, Linux/Unix, Mac, Microsoft Windows, WindowsServer Administration
