Drafting Professional
Our team is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering partners to create accurate and detailed drawings.
  • Develop options for house placement and orientation, generate site layout options, and ensure complete and accurate agency submittals while following OR and WA permitting procedures.
  • Produce address-specific plans within set deadlines, update and manage the plan library per manager's directives, create new plan designs from schematics to the design development stage, and execute SPR drafting tasks.
  • Communicate with and analyze engineering partners' work for accuracy and value engineering, holding partners accountable to agreed-upon timelines for completion.

Requirements:
  • An associate's degree in the related field; bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of drafting experience or equivalent.
  • Residential construction or home remodeling drafting experience required.
  • Familiarity with building codes and permitting standards in WA and OR preferred.
  • Ability to conduct internet research and familiarity with local GIS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
