Financial Management Professional Job Description

Objective:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to handle day-to-day financial transactions, reconcile sales taxes and payroll, process accounts receivable and payable, and provide expert financial insights.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process with accuracy and precision.
  • Reconcile monthly sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Process accounts receivable and payable in a timely manner, ensuring seamless cash flow management.
  • Utilize accounting software to handle monthly payroll and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Compile, analyze, and report financial data to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Develop periodic reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements, to support informed decision-making.
  • Present financial insights to senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records.
  • Audit and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with a strong emphasis on mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks or MYOB.
  • At least one year of US Payroll experience, with a proven track record of successful financial management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to navigate complex financial issues.
  • Experience with financial software, including Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and precision.
  • Ethical behavior, with a commitment to integrity and professionalism.
