Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at 7107 CONCRETE CARRIERS INC. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, and transport materials within a warehouse or production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Inspect forklifts before use, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting material movements.
  • Assist in organizing and stacking materials in designated storage areas.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and safety concerns.
  • Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and report any issues to management.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements regarding safety and material handling.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid forklift operator certification (specific to company requirements).
  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
