Our organization seeks a diligent and detail-driven Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage financial resources, ensure timely transaction entry, and contribute to overall financial stability and growth.
This full-time position is responsible for managing the AP process, reviewing and verifying bills and check requests, enforcing payment terms, and preparing and maintaining accounts payable reports.
The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with proven working experience as an accounts payable clerk. Strong bookkeeping and accounting principles, high accuracy, and attention to detail are essential. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Netsuite, and BILL, is required.
In addition to technical skills, excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are necessary to work effectively with vendors and suppliers. Responsibilities:
- Financial Resource Management
- Manage outflow of financial resources, including bill processing, payments, and expense reimbursements
- Utilize BILL to manage AP process
- Billing and Payments
- Review and verify bills and check requests
- Enforce payment terms
- Vendor Relationships
- Maintain accurate and complete vendor records
- Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports
- Reconciliations and Closing Activities
- Perform reconciliations of payable accounts
- Assist in month-end closing activities
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Proven working experience as an accounts payable clerk
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Netsuite, and BILL
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
