Job Description

The Financial Reporting and Tax Assistant Manager is responsible for providing financial reporting and tax compliance support to VG SUPPLY CHAIN, INC. This role involves ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient financial data preparation, tax filings, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting standards and tax laws, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Main Responsibilities:

* Assisting in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
* Reviewing journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
* Managing the uploading and monitoring of data in NetSuite.
* Assisting in preparation of year-end audits, collaborating with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
* Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for internal management and external stakeholders.
* Managing tax planning and compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
* Monitoring changes in tax regulations and ensuring timely adaptation of internal processes to remain compliant.
* Assisting in preparing tax provisions for financial reporting and ensuring alignment with tax filings.
* Overseeing business permit application and renewal, timely providing the necessary documents and requirements to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in B.S. Accountancy/Accounting Technology/Management Accounting.
* At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and tax compliance, preferably with experience in external audit.
* Strong grasp of accounting standards and tax laws.
* Proficient in MS Excel (advanced level) and knowledgeable with accounting software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
