Threat Response and Cybersecurity Specialist

This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in threat response and cybersecurity to join our team.

  • Perform incident management, including preparation, detection, containment, eradication, recovery, improvement, and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests; collaborate with security consultants to remediate findings.
  • Monitor network, host, and application activity; conduct forensic investigations; perform threat analysis and modeling; liaise with security service providers and information sharing groups.
  • Report security breaches or major cyber incidents to stakeholders, in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop, test, and update incident response plans; ensure incident responders, investigators, and forensic data collectors are well-trained.
  • Continuously assess and test controls and security measures to ensure effectiveness across all phases: prevent, detect, respond, and recover.
  • Stay informed on emerging threats and advances in security tools and techniques.
  • Proactively scan the organization's cyber environment for threats through authorized ethical hacking.
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) with security service providers to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of solid experience in system, network, and endpoint security.
  • Detailed knowledge of network and web protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols).
  • Knowledge of web application firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and security practices (e.g., OWASP) is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and oral.
