Senior Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Specialist to support our technical environments across Australia. As part of our team, you will be involved in patching, data collection, health checks, and technical support for security-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patch various applications to support clients' vulnerability management plans
  • Collect and collate data to support regular cybersecurity reporting activities
  • Conduct health checks on existing client solution implementations, including EDR, Firewalls, and Application Control
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security-related issues to customers based in Australia
  • Maintain documentation concerning security procedures, processes, and incidents
  • Assist in conducting post-incident reviews and implementing corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a cybersecurity role with a focus on vulnerability management, patching, and incident response
  • Knowledge and understanding of common security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including EDR, Firewalls, and Application Control solutions
  • A general knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking principles
  • Experience working with an IT outsourcer or managed service provider (MSP)
