Job Opportunity

This is a remote position for a Japanese-Speaking MERN Stack Developer. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Japanese, solid experience with the MERN stack, and strong understanding of Git and development best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to build high-quality user interfaces and APIs.
  • Participate in agile sprints, contribute to planning, code reviews, and testing.
  • Integrate and optimize AI tools and APIs to improve workflows and product functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with both Japanese and English-speaking team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Japanese (written, spoken, and listening) / JNLPT2.
  • Solid experience with the MERN stack.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Experience working in remote and cross-cultural teams.
  • Strong understanding of Git and development best practices.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, automation scripts) for productivity and efficiency.
