Cost Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our finance team in a cost accounting role.

  • Review duties and taxes of arrived units and endorse to operations.
  • Update foreign exchange rate in SAPB1 and input initial cost of units/parts.
  • Check AP Reserve in SAP vs. actual invoices.
  • Prepare parts shipment costing file for pricing reference.
  • Process payables related to inventory (duties, broker, inbound delivery, import insurance, CSR, LC, parts payments) and local parts purchases with CWT generation.
  • Record payments of LC opening charges, bank charges, and dollar purchases.
  • Record gain/loss on settlement of import goods.
  • Reconcile sales book with SAP records and prepare financial reports.
  • Review prior to filing and support semi-annual reporting for new model arrivals.
  • Coordinate with logistics/aftersales and finance for periodic inventory taking and reconciliation.
  • Review and reconcile OEM's Sales Order Agreement.
  • Prepare and record incentives/fleet/subsidy claims and promo-related reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent.
  • CPA license is an advantage.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
