Technical Template Developer

We are seeking a detail-oriented technical template developer to join our production team. This role focuses on creating and implementing variable data print (VDP) and cross-media marketing templates using XMPie software based on specifications.

  • Create high-quality XMPie uDirect, uCreate, and uProduce templates according to specifications provided through the ticket management system.
  • Develop variable data templates for print, email, web, and mobile channels, ensuring seamless integration with customer databases or data sources.
  • Implement complex personalization rules, conditional logic, and dynamic content blocks in templates, meeting precise technical requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of variable data printing concepts and workflows, proficiency in XMPie software suite, and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create high-quality templates according to specifications.
  2. Develop variable data templates for different channels.
  3. Implement complex personalization rules and dynamic content blocks.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in XMPie software suite.
  • Strong understanding of variable data printing concepts and workflows.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Understanding of database concepts and data file formats.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and data manipulation.
