The ideal candidate will have experience in using evidence-based practices to effectively counsel individuals with complex trauma histories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counseling services: Provides individual and group counseling services to survivors, addressing their emotional and psychological needs.
  • Assessment and planning: Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops personalized treatment plans for each client.
  • Staff collaboration: Works closely with staff members to ensure seamless transitions between stages of care.
  • Community outreach: Establishes relationships with community resources and organizations to enhance the availability of services for survivors.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in counseling or social work from an accredited college.
  • Holds or working towards an LPC license and a minimum of 2 years of experience in individual and group counseling with traumatized individuals/abuse, substance abuse, victims of crime, women in crisis, at-risk youth, domestic violence or similar population.
  • Skilled in leading effective counseling groups and staff training.
  • Leader with trauma responsive programming.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
