Lead Tax & Managerial Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and strategic tax professional to join a forward-thinking team in a fully remote, long-term opportunity. This role involves developing proactive U.S. tax plans, advising on entity structuring, managing compliance, and serving as the in-house expert on IRS regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • U.S. Tax Strategy & Compliance: Develop and execute proactive tax plans to minimize liabilities, advise on entity structuring, manage all compliance, and serve as the in-house expert on IRS regulations.
  • Managerial Accounting & Financial Analysis: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, conduct variance analysis, and translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership to support long-term strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience focused specifically on U.S. taxation (planning, strategy, and compliance).
  • Demonstrated expertise in navigating the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and IRS regulations. A U.S. Enrolled Agent designation is a strong plus.
  • Strong proficiency in managerial accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.
