We are seeking a seasoned education expert to join our project in desegregating Roma children in education. The European Commission has approved a project to support Slovakia, and we need your expertise to develop resources and assist review, analysis, and capacity-building activities.

The Roma Education/Inclusive Education Expert-Consultant will work on EU/international reviews of good practices, developing a capacity-building toolkit, and supporting the draft National Roma Education Desegregation Action Plan.

  • Conduct an EU/international review of good practices in addressing education segregation for Roma children and promoting inclusive education.
  • Develop a comprehensive toolkit for capacity building of regional and national stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise to project activities based on the findings of the EU/international review and toolkit.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree or higher in international development, human rights, education, or another relevant social science field.
  • No less than ten years of professional experience in education, inclusive education, or inclusion of the most vulnerable groups in education.
  • Prior experience in conducting or managing research projects is highly valued.
