Job Summary:

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Python developer to leverage their expertise in building and deploying scalable applications using cutting-edge technology.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement robust, scalable RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework, adhering to clean architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Continuously profile, optimize, and refactor code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Enforce engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews and automated testing.
  • Design and optimize relational data models in PostgreSQL, fine-tuning queries and indexes for high-throughput workloads.
  • Leverage Redis and Celery for asynchronous task processing and caching strategies.
  • Deploy and manage services in Dockerized environments, with infrastructure hosted on AWS and served via Nginx on Linux systems.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in back-end development with Python, including 2+ years of production-grade work with Django and Django REST Framework.
    • Deep expertise in RESTful API architecture.
    • Strong command of PostgreSQL, with experience in designing normalized schemas and writing optimized queries.
    • Familiarity with Angular or other front-end frameworks is a plus.
    • Proficient in Git, with experience in branching strategies and collaborative development in agile teams.
    • Solid understanding of unit, integration, and E2E testing.
    • Hands-on experience with Docker, Redis, and Celery.
    • Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
    • Comfortable working in Linux environments.
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
