Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller to lead our team in creating, analysing and optimising complex financial models. As a key member of our consultancy practice, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and develop comprehensive models to support strategic decision-making.


This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about financial modelling and has a strong analytical skillset. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine assumptions, parameters and scenarios under the guidance of Senior Managers to ensure model robustness and reliability
  • Lead in the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Maintain meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies to uphold our high standards and ensure consistency

Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognised advisory practice or large corporate setting
  • A good appreciation of accounting concepts; an accounting qualification is beneficial
  • An in-depth understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
  • Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
