About The Role

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer & Frontend Engineer with 3-4 years' experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for crafting visually appealing interfaces and implementing responsive designs that deliver outstanding user experiences across web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work on website projects using traditional HTML/CSS/JS as well as the React.js framework
2. Develop and launch new features for existing web platforms using agile methodology
3. Support with the development of new web applications
4. Use your problem-solving skills to support the team through QA cycles
5. Collaborate closely with back-end teams to integrate sites into purpose-built APIs to serve data and content
6. Partner with our design teams to ensure that visual designs are implemented to the highest standard
7. Build user-centered designs through wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes
8. Conduct user research and testing to advise design decisions

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Design Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
• CSS Frameworks: Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap
• State Management: Redux, Context API
• UI Component Libraries: Material UI, Chakra UI
• Version Control: Git

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years professional experience in UI/UX design and frontend development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with React.js and modern frontend development
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and standard methodologies
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience crafting wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Ability to translate design requirements into functional interfaces
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
• Portfolio demonstrating previous work in both design and development

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Knowledge of design systems implementation
• Experience with user testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
