Job Description

Purchasing staff members at INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE buy products and services, with key responsibilities including:

  • Researching suppliers to identify suitable options
  • Evaluating supplier offers based on quality, reliability, and technical support
  • Negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and prices
  • Placing orders with suppliers and vendors, ensuring accurate data entry
  • Tracking orders and delivery progress, as well as monitoring stock levels and assessing purchasing needs
  • Coordinating with warehouse staff to meet storage requirements
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of all orders, payments, and received stock
  • Preparing cost analysis reports on purchases, including identifying areas for improvement
  • Reporting any damaged or faulty products

The successful candidate will have a professional driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle safely and efficiently.

Work Requirements

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is also essential.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
