Job Description:

The Assistant Manager role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of accounts payable. This includes ensuring accurate and timely management of accounts payable processes from invoices to payment, validation and processing of disbursements, preparation of returns, and filing and payment of taxes while maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.

The incumbent will work together with the Accounts Payable Manager in reviewing and verifying invoices and expense reports, reimbursements, and supplier reconciliation production management for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate approval.

This position requires a strong analytical skillset, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting or its equivalent; CPA license is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a Senior Supervisor or Assistant Manager role.
  • Technology savvy, proficient in using store operations software.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, analytical with good problem-solving skills.
  • Thinks logically and has keen attention to detail.
  • Team-player with good interpersonal skills.
