Job Title: Business Analyst for Regulatory Compliance

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in delivering high-quality reporting solutions for Statutory and Regulatory Reporting. As a key member of our squad, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze complex Finance business issues, design effective solutions, and implement them using state-of-the-art techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex Finance business issues that exceed Squad and/or Tribe boundaries to bring complete solutions for requested changes.
  • Deliver excellent substantiated analysis using the latest state-of-the-art techniques and tools leading to functional designs that cover all change deliverables.
  • Care for coordination of content between specialists from different domains.
  • Ensure all requirements of relevant stakeholders are acknowledged in analyses and different solution designs.
  • Present different (functional and solution) design alternatives and their impact clearly to support Tribes and squads in taking decisions.
  • Translate business requirements and non-functional requirements into IT Solution requirements.
  • Collaborate with (IT)-architects and –specialists to arrive at suitable IT solutions.

Requirements Analysis:

You will elicit sets of coherent requirements, ensuring they are complete, consistent, of good quality, and correctly translated in the design. You will also support product owners and squads in managing the backlog by translating and prioritizing epics to features and user stories.

Process Analysis:

You will analyze the current situation, problems that occur, and underlying causes, providing clear process designs based on this analysis.

Information Analysis:

You will analyze necessary input, output, and adjustment of data in client processes, investigate information needs, and come up with solutions to improve data quality.

Risk Analysis:

You will translate policy and regulation of ORM, Compliance, and Legal into design solutions.

Key Capabilities/Experience & Minimum Qualifications:

We seek an energetic and driven expert with strong analytical capabilities who uses state-of-the-art methods and techniques for business analysis. You must have integral, domain-exceeding knowledge of Finance and excellent communication skills to build bridges between stakeholders.

Education, Experience, and Background:

  • Education at Bachelor/Master level in (business) administration or comparable.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Business Analysis.
  • Integral, cross-domain knowledge and experience.
  • Strong communication skills to present analyses clearly.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with Agile and Lean.
  • Knowledge and experience in business and IT, particularly in process management and financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Expert with strong analytical skills, using state-of-the-art methods and techniques.
  • Actively keep up professional knowledge and translate external trends into applicable knowledge.
