Financial Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Automation Specialist. This role will be responsible for analyzing system processes, identifying opportunities for automation and proposing solutions that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with integration and automation teams to automate key financial processes and workflows.
  • Interview business users to identify opportunities for automation and propose solutions that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Deep dive into system processes to understand, document, and propose optimizations.
  • Work with integration APIs to build and manage automated data flows between systems.
  • Research and analyze available market AI solutions to identify opportunities and propose solutions that can benefit the organization.
Business Requirements & Analysis:
  • Work closely with business partners, internal or external, to understand processes, gaps and goals.
  • Analyze existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
  • Partner with business, internal and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions.
  • Participate in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).
  • Provide technical/functional solutions to business needs.
Business Solutions Design, Delivery & Support:
  • Investigate and resolve technical/systems issues by examining system configurations, integrations and APIs.
  • Gather information, investigate gaps / issues, identifies potential solutions and presents to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives.
  • Collaborate with various teams to address Finance production support issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Optimize Finance systems and processes to scale with growth by identifying and implementing processes and managing daily issues.
  • Develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation and go live with cross-functional teams.
  • Support delivery of reporting, dashboards and business intelligence capabilities through partnership with IT and Business.
  • Lead and perform data management and migration activities.
  • Ensure training and communications in accordance with project timelines.
