Junior Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling projects related to system design, database architecture and system integrations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • To work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.
    • Participate in implementing software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.
    • To drive an engineering focus and quality-first approach with development teams.
    • To identify and define re-usable design patterns that address common requirements.
    • Leading and facilitating requirements discussions and demonstrating high fidelity prototypes of proposed solution components.

KPIs:

  • Main Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
    • A proactive self-starter who can shape technical work packages.
    • A proven track record of delivery including working on a project from pre-inception through to business and technical delivery.
    • A strong focus on software engineering disciplines and best practices.
    • Ability to code/configure technically complex solutions.
    • Creativity and alternative thinking to generate new ways of doing things.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • More than 2 years of experience in ESB, MQ or different messaging platforms.
    • Familiarity with various integration patterns and architectures.
